Heat pumps in Valjevo

In our area air-to-water heat pumps are the most common because they are simpler to install and need no well drilling. Water-to-water pumps deliver a steadier output because they use groundwater, whose temperature changes little through the year, but they need a suitable water source and a well. Which solution makes sense for your building depends on the plot, consumption and budget, so we have that conversation before ordering anything.

A heat pump works best at a low water temperature, so it naturally pairs with underfloor heating and low-temperature radiators. We size the pump to the building's heat loss, not by guesswork - an oversized pump keeps switching on and off and uses more, while an undersized one won't cope with the coldest days. The pump comes with a buffer tank that smooths its operation and extends the compressor's life.

The complete job covers the pipework, connection to the buffer tank and heating circuits, commissioning and setting the controls - the heating curve, the cooling mode and domestic hot water if the pump prepares it. In summer the same system switches to cooling and cools the space through the underfloor loops or fan coils. At the end we explain how to run the system economically.

Frequently asked questions

Is a heat pump worth it?

A heat pump delivers more heat per kilowatt-hour of electricity than a direct heater would, so running costs are usually lower than electricity and comparable to gas, especially with underfloor heating. How much it pays off in a given case depends on the building, its insulation and energy prices, so we do the calculation for your case, without quoting percentages in advance.

Does a heat pump work at low winter temperatures?

Yes, modern air-to-water pumps work well below freezing, but their output falls as it gets colder outside. That is why correct sizing for the coldest days matters, and we take it into account when sizing and, if needed, provide for a supplementary heat source.

Do you help with subsidies for heat pumps?

We help by preparing the quote and the technical documents that go with a subsidy application. The decision to grant it and the conditions are made by the competent authority, so we don't promise an amount or approval - we give you tidy paperwork on our side so the application is complete.
